Daria Ibn-Tamas is an intellectual property and product liability attorney. She provides pro bono services in the areas of immigration, consumer protection and non-profit law. Additionally, Daria serves as a disaster relief consultant to a FEMA contractor and is among the first response team that provides home inspection services to federally declared disaster areas. Since 2004, she has been deployed to over fifteen disasters in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Texas, Louisiana, California and Tennessee. She works areas impacted by floods, hurricanes, mudslides and fires all over the United States. Daria prides herself on her ability to provide real property and social service assessments to those in need. She guides applicants through the relief process, giving them both comfort and a multitude of options during their difficult time. Daria serves as a valuable resource and contributor to media outlets during natural disasters. Her expertise in the areas of crisis management provides her the skills to aid victims in an emergency and assist them by creating a plan of action to overcome their turmoil. Daria has performed volunteer work around the world for various relief efforts sponsored by Airline Ambassadors when she coordinated transportation logistics for medical teams to reach earthquake victims and assisted evacuees from Haiti that applied for humanitarian parole. Committed to volunteerism, Daria is a motivational speaker and sponsor of activities that bring awareness to domestic violence and human trafficking. Daria has served on the board of many respected outreach programs and is fully committed to health-care issues in urban communities with a focus on HIV awareness. Daria is the owner of Diva Enterprises LLC, -- a national promotion and marketing group specializing in boutique event planning. An off-shoot of Diva Enterprises LLC, is a product line of apparel, books and novelty items for children of color. In 2015, the two product lines "Heritage Baby" and "Sorority Dolls" will be introduced to the marketplace.The venture began as a hobby in 1999 and through e-commerce, Diva Enterprises LLC has developed into a profitable family business.
